Care Ministries Assistant...this part-time 28-hour week position will serve as the class administrator for some of our adult classes and provide additional administrative assistance as needed at Chesterfield. Some evenings and the occasional weekend will be required. This person has a passion for Christ, can articulate the vision of this ministry, has a heart for relationships, and is committed to bringing spiritual health to the church.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee administration of all care classes and related events at The Crossing
• Maintain all communications with participants prior to and during classes
• Complete event request process and coordinate with other teams needed for events
• Create and maintain the registrations associated with these classes
• Reserve rooms for classes/events and be responsible for preparation, set-up, and clean-up of appropriate materials (name tags, folders, tablecloths, etc.)
• Assist participants with class/event check-in (some evenings required)
• Manage budget for assigned classes/events
• Work in conjunction with the class administrative team across all ministries and campuses to assist in coordinating special events when needed
• Assist the Digital Content Specialist with creation of Rock registrations and other tasks
• Make appropriate notes in ROCK database as necessary
• Attend administrative meetings
• Recruit, train, and entrust volunteers to be part of the administrative class team

ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide administrative support to class teachers/pastors, specifically the Director of Care Ministries
• Assist with yearly baptism celebration
• Cover for front desk receptionist lunch breaks and other times as needed
• Maintain laundry/washing of tablecloths
• Arrange catering for quarterly all-staff lunches Help with special projects as needed
• Coordinate schedules to set up meetings/Interviews (Counselors specifically)
• Assist in meetings by taking notes/preparing resources

Duties for Guest Experiences at Chesterfield

• Build, develop and oversee all Guest Experiences teams, including team leaders, supervisors, parking team, greeters, connections & coffee bar.
• Work with other campuses to ensure consistent delivery of volunteer management of Guest Experiences teams.
• Coordinate and deliver team building activities and training for the Guest Experiences Teams.
• Work through serving profile process with ministry app team for Guest Experiences team.
• Provide volunteer care and discipleship to all volunteers in Guest Experiences.
• Participate in Dinners at The Crossing at the Chesterfield campus.

Duties for Emergency Services

• Work with security team, officers and other Guest Experiences staff to implement and train on emergency procedures.
• Have a thorough knowledge of The Crossing emergency plan.
• Must be willing and able to react to any emergency, display confidence and remain calm until the emergency has been resolved.
• Requires additional training including CPR, AED and first aid.
• Must be able to build and maintain relationships with the Police Officers and coordinate monthly schedule for weekday and weekend activities.

• Work alongside Chesterfield campus team to implement special events at Chesterfield campus, including non-ministry events.

• Funeral coordinator for Chesterfield campus as needed.

Kid's Administrator...this full-time position is responsible for the overall administration of KidsCrossing at Chesterfield (CFD). In addition to managing the many details involved in running KidsCrossing at CFD, this position requires leading volunteers. This position requires weekday office hours to prepare for the weekend as well as being present to oversee the general operation of the KidsCrossing lobby during the weekend.  This person will work primarily at the CFD Campus, and will, on occasion, contribute to multi-site events or activities.

The ideal candidate will have skills in cleaning, plumbing, electricity or carpentry and enjoy working behind the scenes with an eye for detail. You must be able to work mainly weekdays and potentially some evenings, be flexible and have strong communication skills.

Chesterfield Music Technician...is a full-time position that works with music team staff, producer, & related staff to lead and equip the worship team at Chesterfield in a way that consistently upholds the values set by the music and programming staff. This position is also responsible to assist all campuses in creating central service music assets including music demos, charts, tracks, Ableton, and other musical support for our weekend services at all our sites.

Chesterfield Responsibilities

• Assist the Chesterfield Music Lead during the weekends by leading worship, band, and/or music directing, primarily from an instrument
• Work with the Chesterfield Music Lead to equip the volunteers and contractors scheduled at Chesterfield to prepare to lead worship each weekend and grow in their skill and experience
• Work with Chesterfield Worship Team Lead to ensure that all instruments are well-stocked, tuned, and in top functionality
• Build relationships with volunteers and contractors who primarily serve at the Chesterfield home

Central Services Responsibilities

• Assist the with Music Team by creating relevant demos as assigned
• Run point in the creation in instrumental tracks to be used in our services
• Assist the Music Team by creating resources for instrumentalists
• Work with Production Techs to continue staying current on musical trends as it relates to technology
• Participate in a Brainstorming team
• Run the studio and function as recording engineer as needed
• Network with other musicians in-town
• Music Director events as assigned
• Participate in songwriting sessions

Outreach Coordinator...the primary purpose is to oversee and implement local Outreach Serve Days, Outreach: DIY, and other projects in conjunction with The Crossing’s non-profit/organization community partners located in the St. Charles and North St. Louis areas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping people and a desire to develop and maintain relationships with key community leaders and organizations. You must be able to manage projects, recruit, develop and shepherd volunteers. This position will include weekday office hours at our Chesterfield and Mid Rivers campuses as well as some evenings and weekend days in the community as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience with volunteer coordination and project management.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all elements of Serve Day, Go Team and DIY, which includes establishing projects, gathering and delivering supplies, maintaining communications, recruiting volunteers, etc.
• Provide onsite leadership and hands-on support for projects during Serve Days
• Recruit, develop and support volunteer leaders to prepare them to lead outreach projects
• Recruit, develop, encourage and support volunteers to serve in the community
• Set and maintain budget related to Serve Days and other projects

• Oversee the maintenance of all Outreach storage spaces and assets including receiving and storing supply shipments, loading and unloading supplies, tools and materials associated with Serve Days

• Provide content for social media and communications to the Outreach Communications Lead
• Assist with large events such as Serve Week, Give Food and Backpack Attack

Senior Graphic Designer...is a full time position at The Crossing.  The primary purpose of this Senior Graphic Design position is to conceptualize and create original and adapted visual print/web/digital support in unity with the vision and brand of The Crossing. This Senior Graphic Designer will bring exceptional concepts and designs that are equally relative and fresh regularly. This position supports the weekend services and all other ministries of the church. The ideal candidate for this position is a professional with the right balance of creativity and technical ability, as well as the ability to maintain brand consistency.

• Provide original and adapted print/digital/web support for weekend experiences and other ministry areas of the church from inception to completion

YouthCrossing Coordinator at our Mid Rivers campus...this part time position will report to and work closely with the campus youth pastor in overseeing many aspects of the youth ministry, some of which include volunteers, occasional teaching (as assigned), as well as creating, implementing, and maintaining teams for the youth ministry (6^th-12^th grade). Creating community, culture, and trust amongst teams to further the reaches of the youth ministry is top priority.  This person will also possess the ability to jump into many different projects and tasks as needed.  In the end, their heart will beat for creating a safe environment for students all over the spiritual spectrum to take steps on their journey with Jesus.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Wednesday Nights (5 hours per week)

• Order Pizza for 5:45pm
• Print Small Group Questions and other materials
• Work with Facilities Team to accomplish the following:
  • Lobby Lights on
  • Coffee Bar Lights on
  • Lobby TV’s on (remotes from connection desk)
  • Parking lot is coned off
  • Any other needs in lobby or kids crossing rooms

• Setup Check in area and kiosks
• Work with volunteers to setup and run concessions
• Work with volunteers to setup lobby games
• Work with volunteer teams to make sure everything is cleaned up at the end of the night
• Assist in leading games and/or announcements from stage
• Be available in the lobby during service and small groups to assist parents and guests

• Responsible for new student follow-up process
• Assist youth pastor in scheduling volunteers for Wednesday nights, using Planning Center and/or email communication
• Order or purchase any supplies needed for Wednesday nights.
