Message: God's Not Done

Speaker: Tim Bounds

Service Date: September 03, 2023 Plain Print Version

Read: Ephesians 2:8-10, II Corinthians 5:17-21, John 17:21, Revelation 21-22

Reflect:

1. As you read II Corinthians 5:17-21, what words or phrases jump out at you?

2. What comes to mind when you think of an ambassador?  What do they do?  How do they relate to their own country and the place they are sent?  How does this relate to Paul's encouragement that we be "ambassadors for Christ?"

3. We reflected on the end of the story as "new creation" in Revelation 21-22.  Is this image different than what you picture?  Are you more interested in the garden or the city?

4. What did you make of the metaphor of embracing and dancing to illustrate reconciliation?  Where do you get tripped up with that?

"For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."
