1. What song lyrics have you sung but you found out later you had the wrong lyrics?

2. This weekend we sang, "the Lord is good always," so share what's been good in your life this week?

1. When it comes to your faith, what are the big questions you have had in the past or currently have now?

2. Read John 14:1-4 again. Put yourself in the room with Jesus and his disciples. What do you see, what do you hear, what do you smell, and taste. Your leader, teacher, and friend announces that he’s leaving but he’ll prepare a place for you and you know the way there. But you have NO idea what he’s talking about. What are you thinking? What are you feeling? Are you the kind of personality that would stop and ask what he meant? Or would you just be grateful that Thomas asked the question you were thinking?

3. Read John 14:5-6. When Jesus answers, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Would that have answered your questions? Would you press in further? Discuss what Jesus was saying in that statement.

4. How would you respond to a friend who thinks that all religions are the same.

5. Read Romans 10:9-13. What stands out to you? How is this a loving way to be saved?

2. Continue praying this week as we did at the end of the service:
“Jesus, who are you? Help me to know what is true about you.”
“Jesus I know who you are and I need you. Jesus come find me I’m so lost.”
“Jesus, thank you…”

3. If you feel confident in your faith and how you would gently answer others’ questions, your next step may be to start a conversation with someone you know and love who doesn’t follow Jesus. Romans 10:14 says, “But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?” Pray and ask God to point you toward someone who needs to be told about Jesus’s love and grace.

God, you are good. You are faithful and you are patient. Thank you for giving us grace and patiently waiting as we find our way to you. There is nothing in this world that will satisfy the longings of our soul like you. Jesus, may we never forget your sacrifice for us, while we were still sinners.

This week, as we go about our busy lives, Holy Spirit, help us to remember the goodness of God. Give us glimpses of how wide, how long, how high, and how deep your love is for us.

It is because of Jesus' name we pray these things, Amen.
