Reflect

  1. What does the term "Son of Man" mean? Why was it important to Jesus?
  2. Read Mark 10:42-43. What is Jesus saying to the disciples?
  3. How do you balance the tension of Jesus being both human and divine?
  4. Share a time where you were served well. How did it make you feel?
  5. How does Mark 10:45 impact your outlook on serving others?
  6. Is there a way that your group members can show up for you this week?

Do

  1. Think about the people in your life - your neighbors, your family, a friend, or maybe someone in your small group. How can you serve them this week in an intentional way?
  2. Take a look at the serving opportunities at The Crossing and sign up for an area that sticks out to you. Maybe your group can serve together.

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
